Five minute centering

You can do this anytime and almost anywhere. Sit quietly with your eyes closed and deeply, slowly breathe in and out through your nose. In... and out... with every inhale you become calm... with every breath out you release tension and excess energy. Deep inhale in... and out... you are in a calm mind/body state... you sit comfortably inside yourself. Take a deep inhale in... bringing energy back into yourself... take a deep exhale out... release whatever you don't need, from your muscles, from every cell... any negative emotions melt away... breathe in... and out... give yourself a moment and with one last deep breath, open your eyes.
