Sometimes, when you feel at one with your true sense of self and with everything and everyone, you fill up with a definite knowing. It's a happiness that makes you feel like there's a summer breeze that's just passed by and a lightness that lifts you off the ground, like you have shifted into some other ecstatic dimension. That feeling, somewhere between happiness and tears, is the feeling of being present and it is in the present that healing takes place. For most of us, this feeling is fleeting. It is easy to conceptualize about the past and future but the present cannot be thought about, only felt one breath at a time.
