Breathing

Breathing

Wellness begins with your breath. Our bodies rely on it for life and a proper energy flow. The Buddhists have an understanding as do many people in the energy medicine community that it is primarily incomplete/irregular breathing that causes disease. Inconsistent breathing greatly contributes to your stress level; so breathe deep and slow and let your body relax. If you breathe fully, you will be free of disease and you will begin to live harmoniously in the world. Be aware of your breath throughout the day and relax into your life.

The reason breath is so important is that it is our connection to the present. Most of us live in a combination of the past and the future, both of which are easy for us to conceptualize. But the present cannot be conceptualized, it can only be experienced, one breath at a time. When you breathe in positive energy and breathe out negativity and tension, you are creating an atmosphere within your energy system that is more receptive to the vibrational effects of any energy or medical procedure. You will be putting yourself in a healing state. You can recover from depression, anxiety and pain more readily because your energy will be flowing freely, you will not be holding on energetically to "this shouldn't have happened" or "that person is upsetting me". You'll breathe through this sort of mind-chatter and move on. You'll enter a state of being with a higher frequency that allows you to rise above guilt and blame and courageously accept that the world is your mirror and that you can create whatever you desire. Your breath will prepare you to heal and change your life. (see energy exercises / breathing)
